Bishop Thomas Durrell Strong began his ministry in 1984 at The Pentecostal House of Prayer under the dynamic
leadership of the belated Bishop Andrew Cooper Strong. Bishop Thomas Strong served faithfully at The Pentecostal House of Prayer as an assistant pastor for 10 years. In 1994, God saw fit for Bishop Thomas Strong to be sent to minister at New Hope House of Prayer in Hillsboro, AL

Bishop T.D. Strong preached the powerful word of God and souls were saved. A
while later, Bishop Strong was led back to Decatur Alabama on Central Parkway,
where New Hope House of Prayer became Jubilee House of Prayer. Six months later,
Jubilee House of Prayer relocated to Moulton Street and resided until 2004. In 2004,

In 2004, God gave Bishop T.D. Strong the vision and resources to move his ministry to 2110 State Avenue and rename his church to Greater Jubilee House of Prayer. Greater Jubilee House of Prayer still resides at this location. God has also blessed Bishop T.D. Strong to accompanied with a Hispanic Ministry for the past 7 years. In April 2005, God Blessed Bishop T.D. Strong to establish a church daycare (Jubilee Christian Academy).

Because of Bishop T.D. Strong dedication and hard work in the gospel, In July 2005 God saw fit for him to be elevated to the position of Bishop in Augusta, Georgia by Presiding Bishop Carl E. Holland. Still, the elevation was not complete. In July 2006 Bishop T.D. Strong was elevated again to the position of Assistant Presiding Bishop, the second most important position of the P.A.B.

In October 2007, Bishop's father (Bishop A.C. Strong) was hospitalized with severe illness. He was not sure of his recovery. On his death bed, he asked his son Bishop Strong to stand in his sted and pastor both churches Greater Jubilee and Pentecostal House of Prayer. Bishop T.D. Strong was uncertain if he could handle the task,
but he was assured by God that he was well able. On January 13, 2008, God saw fit to call Bishop A. C. Strong home to glory. Without hesitation, Bishop T.D. Strong picked up the mantle and ran. He is on the battlefield, standing on the wall, and will not come down. God gave him the strength and knowledge to pastor both churches. In April of 2010, God led Bishop to join the two churches together. We are now United Pentecostal-Jubilee House of Prayer. We have truly blessed to have someone that can embrace and fulfill the vision of God.
